DAY 6: CLOSING of creative series on Friday 22 January 2010
The inaugural OAaSIS International Foundation creative workshop series concluded with a well-received closing ceremony. The star-studded ceremony was jam-packed with children and some appreciative parents, held at Allman Town Primary School Courtyard, Kingston.
The ceremony started off on a good note with a simple, yet profoundly moving presentation of Psalm 23, by the drama students of the Allman Town Primary, who were more than glad to showcase their literary prowess.
Formal thanks were given to affiliates of the creative workshop series, which varied from individuals to major corporate entities. Those on board the workshop were Whistling Frog, Enhanced Realizm Studios, Berger Paint, Hot off the Press, Print Xpress, Allman Town Primary caterers, Howard Moo Young, Burger King, Videographer Robin Chin, Patrick James Designs, Stacey Adams designs, Xclusiv Entertainment, and Dwane Forbes.
Bank of Jamaica representatives, Sandra Moodie, and her assistant Ellan Neil were thrilled to accept a mural done by the students of the Allman Town Primary, which is to be added to the entity
